Prefabricated hall
Definition
A prefabricated steel hall is composed of individual components that are interconnected to form a single functional unit. The steel structure is one of the fundamental construction elements of a prefabricated steel hall. It is essential that the prefabricated hall is made from materials whose origin and quality can be verified with a quality certificate, as well as the welding certification of its manufacturers.
What types of prefabricated halls exist?
A prefabricated hall essentially consists of a light steel frame into which sandwich panels are inserted.
For prefabricated halls, we can distinguish two types of constructions:
Simple frame structure – This type allows the creation and cladding of smaller prefabricated halls up to 18 meters. Its greatest advantages are the lightness of the structure and very fast construction.
Truss structure – This type is used for larger prefabricated halls, with widths of up to 40 meters. Such halls are primarily used in the secondary sector, such as agriculture.
The main advantage of these halls is that they are custom-made according to the client’s requirements and the needs of the business. Prefabricated halls provide flexibility for the customer, the option to choose the construction materials, and the ability to define the hall’s functional and performance characteristics.
