Temporary structure
Definition
A temporary structure is a type of construction whose duration is limited by its purpose or by a defined period of use.
What types of structures are these?
A temporary structure is not fully defined by law. It is generally understood as a structure of a short-term nature.
For example, in the event of a natural disaster, temporary structures may include mobile homes or temporary hospitals. The lifespan of a temporary structure is defined in advance, including a specified date of termination. The structure may cease to exist either due to the expiration of the defined time period or because its intended purpose is no longer relevant. The time period for which the structure is permitted can be extended, but such an extension must be approved by the relevant authority or institution.
